Done. Commented as best I could without whining.

not sure about you guys, but remember last year around march. YouTube was unwatchable for 6 month due to the fact that verizon has routing issues
Bumping this thread and exceeding minimum characters for posting.
I haven't checked the servers yet today after this weeks maintenance.

bump bump bump for fix
Of course it's SE doing it .. they've singled out Verizon customers like you to screw-over and no one else .. er, wait, UK BT customers had it as well till BT reconfigured their P2P throttling (I personally had this) and the sticky at the top of the page only lists Verizon .. er, wait, no it doesn't.It seems to be a Square-Enix problem.
I will go ahead and assume it is being taken care of with the servers being down at the moment, but rest assure if the issue continues then I will just have to start releasing videos to the public about this said lag to get it more attention.
This is an ISP problem, it doesn't matter if you believe it or not.
And love the pathetic threats, get over yourself.
Bumping this for attention. SE and Verizon need to talk.
Still having issues after new update.

Try again now.
I'm seeing the issue resolved, at least temporarily

First off, there is glaring evidence that this has been happening since their first maintenance, and is ONLY present on FFXIV, and no other game. Secondly, Verizon doesn't have a magical switch to turn off lag for each individual, it's just their job to route traffic and provide internet. Thirdly, I will repeat number one, as this started to happen after the first maintenance and is ONLY present on FFXIV. This is an obvious communication problem between Square Enix, and Verizon, or just possibly Square Enix dropping the ball somewhere. Either way it's fine to me, I just want the game to stop lagging uncontrollably.
So before you decide to log into the forums and post some stupid response that yields no information or help, don't log in at all. But I really do appreciate your input in the matter, because you count the most.
Now, onto the subject at hand, I logged in today and experienced a very reduced version of the rubber band. I declared the issue cleared! I logged off and then logged back on just an hour ago to test the game again. I was running flawless in dungeons and outside of them, so it was a great experience. All of a sudden, I started to incur the horrific 3-5 second constant delay again after about 20 minutes of play. It has remained present so far, so I cannot declare the issue completely cleared.
Anybody else on feedback?
Bump to the top.
Lag seems to fluctuate at this point and rides the peak times, getting more severe. I have been able to play early in the morning and experienced zero lag whatsoever. I am hoping the Main throttling thread gets a reply from an admin.

thanks for replying to the thread. but lets not all jump the conclusions here, no one know exactly whats wrong, no one has concrete evidence on whos fault this is. so now everyone take a deep breath, and please dont just assume that others are wrong. keep an open mind.Of course it's SE doing it .. they've singled out Verizon customers like you to screw-over and no one else .. er, wait, UK BT customers had it as well till BT reconfigured their P2P throttling (I personally had this) and the sticky at the top of the page only lists Verizon .. er, wait, no it doesn't.
