Why are PC players being so stuck up to ps3 players?

You were coming off as a douch because your "the people who play with you" comment as if i am bringing my team down on a ps3 which i am most certainly not. but you seem to be having issues when trying it, which is a personal problem. That type of stuff depends on player skill. has very little to do with systems.

In other words, the egotism PC players are having towards PS3 is meaningless and outright retarded.

Again, stating a fact. Just because YOU think you're not a hinderance doesn't mean everyone else agrees, it's not a DOUCHE thing to say (At least spell it right damn), it's simply a fact. You're assuming everyone is perfectly happy with your performance and you can't possibly know that, which means you're 100% full of yourself and thinking that because your personal experience is "Ok" by your standards that it somehow makes it a blanketed fact that the PS3 isn't inferior.

I haven't seen this but if that's how they want to make a FC, who cares? It's no different than FC's organized around sexual preferences or whatever other craziness people found a FC around.


I wouldn't hold being a console user against anyone but I am kind of disappointed that this game was ever made for consoles. MMORPGs are PC games. They are best on PCs. This game's design is tainted in a lot of ways to make it playable on an outdated console with a controller that's not ideal for the way MMORPGs usually flow. Just because something can be done passably doesn't mean it should be done, when the alternative is perfection.


They didn't do a terrible job with it, but I'd still prefer a PC only game with all of the richness and robustness of a typical PC-only MMORPG.


Just my opinion. I'm sure people who don't have PCs don't quite agree.

If I am not at a hinderance what does that say? if i have no issues then that means any normal human won't have issues if they actually learn how to use it, how the hell is that full of my self. PS3 pad appears to be to complicated for some people. and i guess you are one of them? and when did i assume everyone was perfectly happy with it? Stop putting words in my mouth. you failed again at reading and did not see what i am trying to tell you.

so i'll say it again for you as i am not about to go pages arguing with some guy over PC vs PS3 performance. PS3 issues do not make any noticible hinderences to PC players, as such there is no reason to not play with one just because they use that system did you get all that? i hope so.

It's worth noting that for every bad PS3 player, there's a bad PC player (maybe more). Bad players are always bad players, regardless of the system. The mouse/keyboard setup is traditional, tested, and already learned by a lot of players, whereas game pad is not. A bad player on a traditional setup will have an edge over a good player on a game pad, but that will change with time. I think we'll see a lot of extremely good PS3 players before all is said and done.

I do have to wonder a bit if Japan has a lot of players on PS3. I wonder if they have similar debates...

I actually think all of the PC "elitists" in here are projecting. All of them who say things like, "I would never let you in to my Titan HM runs!" aren't even on those fights yet. It's pretty obvious they've discovered they aren't the awesome players they thought they were and are now trying to force a bunch of people below them in order to make themselves feel better.

I mean, look at Kentucky Wildcat. He's using level 28 and 38 accessories, a level 42 axe, and hasn't even completed the story, but here he is saying all these other people suck just by virtue of playing on a different system. So if you want to talk about "clearing content effectively," maybe you should look at yourself first.

Don't act so elite just because you're on a PC, like some of us. Go talk to all those bad wow players since wow is pc only and we still have tons of bad players. It doesn't matter if a player uses a pc or a ps3, if they're bad then they're bad and if they're good that's great. What's a hindrance to a group is the overall performance, because I'm dam sure there are a ton of bad pc players here too.

Big difference between bad players as a whole, and people using a platform/control style that adds to the problem simply because they refuse to admit that their chosen playstyle isn't as optimum as a keyboard/mouse on a well built PC.

It's like trying to argue that "Clickers" or "Keyboard turners" are equally capable as people who use macros and hotkeys, are you going to try and defend that too?

I healed HM Titan on my girl's account with an old 40GB PS3. Took 4 tries. Why? My fellows PC users kept getting smacked off the stage. You're just bad with a controller. Keep hating things your small mind can't comprehend.I've seen it all now that I read your post, at its finest ladies & gents.

Once again some other PS3 user seem to misunderstand what I'm saying in my post. I have no disrespect for any PS3 player, play how you want to. I simply will not invite someone I know is on PS3 because I limit my player pool to those on PC. It's my choice and you're making me out to be an elitist or something by stating my preferences. I'm sure there are plenty of PS3 players that are skilled and capable.
