I think its mainly because the PS3 interface is complicated compared to the PC interface.
I notice when I have PS3 healers in dungeons, mainly because they can't seem to multi task, IE repose a mob and heal me at the same time.
Another grip I have is most of them don't communicate. Getting that PS3 controller keyboard thing would be a nice thing, or just plugging in a USB keyboard to your PS3.
The multitask thing could be fixed with macros, aka the ability to target a mark such as <bind1> or something, if they say at the beginning of the instance, if you want CC use such and such mark.
No. People are just really lazy. I don't know any PS3 player who doesn't also use a keyboard.
All of the people in this thread saying how PS3 players never talk are just pulling it out of their ass. They have no idea if the silent DPS in their party is a PS3 user or a EU player who doesn't speak English or a PC user who is just being lazy. They're just assuming it's a PS3 player so they have someone to focus their pubescent rage on.
These losers are so mad. The DPS is there to do his job, kill. He doesn't have to talk to you at all. Not everyones up for a chat. No one has to talk to you. The people that rage over this are honestly those lonely basement dweller folks with nothing better to do.No. People are just really lazy. I don't know any PS3 player who doesn't also use a keyboard.

I'm a PS3 user and I have the Keypad. When I'm not using my PC, I use the KB. So, this is BS right here...
I beg to differ. I rather manage my MP to heal the team than to throw Stone II and Aero. However, when I see the chance, and there's no BLM in the party, I do use Repose and other moves while healing.I think its mainly because the PS3 interface is complicated compared to the PC interface.

This is coming from a PS3 player... What I think the problem is(Healer wise)... is that most healers don't know that it is easier to heal by locking on to the tank. And if they need to heal others, use up and down on the D-Pad. If they need to target enemies, use left or right on the D-Pad.
I also have Vent, Skype and Mumble all set up just in case I get into a FC that has said voice apps. So, I don't think communication is the issue.
