I speedrun AK just fine and my gear isn't amazing so... your wrong on that one.
I can tank the Garuda adds just fine and its what I do when i run that, I have not died prematurely yet. With that said, WAR main tanking in later game needs some help. Not every fight needs and off-tank.

Double scholar is bad, but scholar+white mage is better than double whitemage.
