Can you transfer items between 2 characters on the same server?

Retainers have so much storage, is there realy a reason to make a mule? you can have 2 retainers with 175 slots each, that is a ton of stuff.

That is still no where enough room, if you plan on doing everything. I have gotten miner and botanist up to level 25 and haven't gotten all of the ones the are available yet, but I already have close to 200 slots filled counting HQ versions. That is not mentioning the 70 or so items I have gotten from monster kills only going through the story content up to about level 30. Then you also have all the crafted materials, that serve no purpose but crafting other items.

Now just with fish you could almost max out both retainers, counting HQ, there is at least 320 of them(since there is an achievement for getting 160 unique ones).
