I agree with the general consensus in here. The individual ability toggles especially. I'm kind of getting annoyed watching my faerie waste her cooldowns...
Say what you will about WoW, but they had a pretty solid pet system in that game.

I do want to point out that it has taken years and years of terrible pet management to finally get it to the state it is now. There are also still a large list of bugs and issues with pets. No game will get pets perfect, because we expect a limited AI to play like we would. Playing a pet class in an MMO is immediate cause for dealing with some irritation as you learn the quirks.
Please don't get me wrong though, I agree that it would be great to see some better handling and options.
I have not gotten to play with the faerie yet, but I would have thought it would be semi-controllable with its cooldown like the Arcanist pets are. If you set those to Obey and use (not Sic 'Em... the other), you'll have manual control of specials forever. Yes it sets you back to guard for aggro purposes, but they still remember to not use specials. Is that not true of the faerie?

Yep just let us toggle all the skills individually to be either auto or manual cast (like WoW).
Also we could use some macros for pet abilities. /ac "Embrace" <t> does nothing.![]()

pet macros would make me so happy ; ; Guess obey is that actual "passive" mode but the damn pets still sometimes revert to sic anyways :P Guess as some have pointed out you can just key bind the fairy but its annoying if you use mouse-overs to have to mouse-over and click. (i haven't tried doing a mouse-over to sticky to target though so might try that) guess something like this:
/ac physick <mo>
/target <mo> (idk if it will work liek this lol)
then hit the keybind for embrace etc lol. ill try it when game is back up but woul still like actual macros XD
