Dont buy this game for PS3

Im currently posting this thread so others dont have there PS3 crash and no longer start like mine did! I have several friends who say there PS3 freezes from overheating while playing the game! I have had this game for 2 weeks now and it has killed my PS3 and it will no longer turn on! If you do not wish this to happen to you dont but this game for it will overheat your processor and kill your PS3!

Yesterday I had the same issue. after 3 hours of play Ps3 freezed. I restarted the console and after 10 mins freezed again....

Hmmm, buy it for PC. A machine thats made to better deal with heat dissipation.

Runs fine 24/7 for me. Besides in FATEs where i can't see shit.

did you ever clean it? might have been the dust

No issues here. Slim model though I did last year buy a little addon for it that attaches a set of fans at the back to force pull air out. So that might be helping as well.

I notice my old model ps3 overheats and lags a ton but I recently bought the 500gb slim model and it works very well I never seem to lag and its quiet as a mouse stealing cheese out of your pantry, keeps very cool as well, I don't recommend using the old VCR style ps3 for this game unless its properly ventilated and dusted/cleaned out.

I prefer the ps3 honestly, but can't wait for the ps4 and remote play on vita, playing secretly at work is where it's at, get all that crafting inb4 you play for real after work is over D:

I have the slim ps3 in my house and I leave the game up most of the day while I am at work, come home and play, no problems. Your ps3 was probably on the verge of dying to begin with. Don't blame the game.

Clean out the dust, move it away from walls, and don't throw a blanket over the top of it. This game puts no more stress on the system than any other game.

Did you get the ylod?

I got the YLOD from the game... I have the launch PS3. But I got YLOD while I was in the middle of updating the client, so I doubt it was from overheating. x_x
