speaking of downloading, I have never dealt with data on bluray. can anyone give me a hint on where to find the files on the ps3? I found the menu to listen to the actual cd (that wasn't hard) but I can't find anything else except an empty 'save file' (and I did try to put that on my usb stick but it is really empty)

I'm curious about ARR soundtrack, but since before meteor only came out after the game's death I guess we have to be happy with the CEs soundtrack (I'm sure there was a FFXIV soundtrack when xiv first came out, with the usual 18 tracks(?).never bothered)


to 'make the pet available':
I hope nobody bought the soundtrack JUST for the pet, but I'm sure some did. not forgetting to mention that it's a nice extra gimmick. if you complain about that you may as well complain about all the preorder extras, the CE-extras, the legacy extras, and don't mention the extras only Japan can get (and you can't even use the code from imports since they only work on JP-accounts)

It's out of print even in Japan. These types of things don't usually go back in print, it's a one-time release.

The BD has a folder called mp3data containing the mp3 versions of songs, surprisingly properly tagged. They even advertised that on the japanese amazon page, IIRC

Your choice obviously you don't want one, it's on BD and priced as a limited edition (which it is). Clearly they'll have no problems selling the stock they have.

I certainly didn't buy it for the pet at all, I didn't even know there was one till I opened the packing, but it does irk me that the code only works on JP SE Accounts, there's no good reason for SE to lock out the rest of the world who already paid a lot more than the JP customers did.

No, I'm not ranting, I am disappointed though.

You can use the code from the Soundtrack on any region account. Multiple posts from the community reps confirmed this. Even I can confirm this, I got signed copy from gamescom and have the pet on my account!
