If you are a WHM without Swiftcast, you are holding back your team at endgame

A swiftcasted raise is probably the most useful thing a white mage could possibly do at Endgame, among the many other uses for Swiftcast. Yet almost everysingle time I go into DF, the White Mage never has Swiftcast, and we wipe. Everytime the WHM does have swiftcast, we win, coincidence? I think not.

You should not be healing endgame with a WHM at all until you learn Swiftcast. If you don't know this ability, you are holding back your team. Does anybody else agree? Is Swiftcast a vitally important ability for a White Mage to have? What are your thoughts?

I agree, I stopped leveling as soon as I got CNJ to 30 just to go and grab swiftcast. Best tool a healer could have, and its cooldown is only 1 minute :O

To the guy above me, swiftcast is so much more than just an instant raise.

This, a good group wouldn't need raise in the first place. Also, there's a lot of new players and most of them probably don't even know swiftcast exists.

If a swifcasted raise is the deciding factor between a win and a loss every time, then there's more wrong with the group than whether or not the WHM has swiftcast, considering you shouldn't NEED a raise in the first place.

That being said, i do think more WHMs need swiftcast.

While swiftcast is a great utility skill, the goal in endgame is to not die.

Swiftcast Raise aside I find it very useful in most tough situations. Definitely agree that all WHM's should get it eventually.

So your excuse for deliberately holding back your healing potential for your team is...."everyone else in my team should get better"? Stop making excuses and learn Swiftcast. It has many uses beyond just raising, and to make excuses to NOT Learn it while still hoping to participate in endgame is going to get you laughed at, nothing more.
