Weird red/green lights in Gridania on big trees.

I was doing the goblin NM 5 mins ago, and after the NM died this started happening to a big tree nearby:

What exactly is this? I've never seen it before, and none of the people I was with have seen it before either. It's a big green/red flashing explosion light.

Really cool/weird! I wonder what it is o_o

Edit: We figured out it only flashes when someone runs up to the tree and gets near it. The color of the glow changes randomly, sometimes it's red and sometimes its yellow. The tree is at (27,15) in The black shroud.

Those are the magic trees near Treespeak right? That's why the area is named treespeak.

Also believe the area is called Whispering Woods in JP. Bad translations are bad. Again the area is named for those trees.

That Dreamtoad has nothing to do with the tree. That Dreamtoad is a Treespeak Behest target.
As all other behests, there is a last, boss-like mob, at the end of behests.
After the party shown defeated all the mobs, a Dreamtoad spawned, which is the behest boss.

The case of the Secret of the Tree still remains unknown... XO;
