Piety and Vitality question

i just used Orange Juice (which gives +1 piety and +1 vitality) and was surprised....
i got +4mp and +9hp O.O that makes investing our poor 30 points in vitality and piety pretty worthless unless you invest all points to get +120 mp which is not really that much or 270 hp which i guess will allow you to endure +1-2 hits from boss on lvl 50
Maybe with lvl this system changes? and at lvl 50 you get like 20 hp per 1 vitality or something like this?(i used juice at lvl 34)

Which you can't anyway as ther is a cap of max +20 points per each stat ...

Hm? Pretty sure I've put in more than +20 on MND on my CNJ/WHM...

This is incorrect, you can put more than 20 points into a stat.
