    One little tip for those that don't know, using Life Surge then Second Wind will make give you a critical heal while allowing you to keep your Life Surge buff. It's saved me several times.

    This. I know it's hard to hold off mashing Full Thrust as soon as the GCD is available to see it's pretty numbers, but the patience to let that critical heal happen first makes both your life and that of your healer much better.
