The "OMG" moment for me is the number of people who have cursed at me for opening every coffer in a dungeon because they saw me get the allaghan pieces not realizing they are randomly distributed. And the amount of "Hey why'd the chess disappear, I didn't get anything" comments.

I can understand that though because at no point is it explained why 1 person gets all the stuff from those. It should be evenly distributing the allagan loot, I find it rediculous that it doesn't.

It randomly distributes it, one person doesn't get it unless it randomly happened to occur like that. I agree it should be evenly distributed. For me, I just don't open the coffer's anymore... lol I let someone else do it so I can go on and someone else can get yelled at. It's not as bad now as it was at launch.

Another "omg" moment, I've had several times today again, when 1 person impatiently runs in at the final boss of a dungeon before everyone is out of the cutscene, locking half the party out of the fight.

Best "omg" moment: Beating Titan for the first time
Worst "omg" moment: Was helping my cousin level his lancer in haukke manor, we had the derpiest PLD who would never pull and only focus on 1 enemy. Told my cousin to put provoke and flash on his bar as a lancer and just tank everything while I heal him.

Not baffling at all, coupled with the failure of teaching in general across the entire world, sprinkle in the fact that the game itself is so absurdly easy, and throw in difficult dungeons right at the end.... = exactly what you see.

Thing is, their class/job quests teaches them exactly how to play their role... if they bother to read anything.

Unfortunately people assume that if you are running something you should know exactly how everything should go the moment you set foot in it. In regards to a previous comment, I shouldn't have to go watch a Youtube video just so I can learn how a fight goes.

I completely agree with this, however, there is a fine line that if crossed, I'll put them with the, not so intelligent player list. That is, when their fighting, they make the same mistake, again and again and again and again. Like the example earlier in this thread of the WHM that refused to use the rocks as cover and kept dieing. Or the example where despite the entire party telling them repeatedly what to do, they still massively screw up.
