I'm not sure why one would need to go nuts about it lol. I suppose I should speak for myself. Steel Peak has a stun and is off-GCD, so no trouble in using it for specific things if the encounter calls for it. Would just be using it every CD otherwise for damage anyway.

Arm of the Destroyer, the AoE Silence, is actually an opening skill that fits snugly into the typical 1-2-3 stance rotation that MNK has and is not difficult to manage in any way. Just use that instead of Dragon Kick. The only drawback of it is that it needs to be used in the proper form, so it's not an on-demand skill. I suppose that's the way it balances the fact that it is an AoE silence.

Look at the targeting circle not the mob. Open space on circle = back, lines = flank, arrow = front. I never look at the mob when dpsing, bounce between mob debuff window (and cast bar) and targeting circle.

... I'll just go take my 400dps elsewhere because I'm closer to support @_@ we are definitely mobile, our dmg adds up far more than you can even imagine and the burst can be incredibly high. Smns burst harder than any other class probably while still being very mobile, it just takes some foresight. Typically I tell my AK groups just to let me handle adds, one fester crit and the mob is 50% and I can completely ignore gcds with the proper rotation.

Won't deny that we can also be support-like with our backup heal, virus, eye for an eye, insta-battle rez and consistent slow but definitely not lacking in dmg.

Stop stroking your e-peen and try to go outside the classes natural qualities.

No mater what you try to make your smn burst, it will always burst less then almost every other class

A blm for instance can burst things to death in 2.5 seconds then a smn can in 10 seconds. That's just a fact.

And pretty much every other class will live longer then a brd if they were thrown in a deadly ring. Brd tanking skills amounts to hoping a monster can't touch you which is the same as being not.

??? What game are you playing. A BARD will hold up and live longer than a WHM any day....We can Shadow bind to give us extra time and kill mobs faster. The white mage would be spamming cure only and then die.
