They were "escalating" tickets to another dept because at the time, chat agents and those on the phone were not able to fix it directly.
I'm not sure why they escalated yours when they are able to fix it directly now, unless it already was escalated. I wish you luck thoughJust got off the phone (after a 3 hr wait -_-) and was told that my ticket is escalated and should receive a email soon with a new 30 day code. I told the rep I have been waiting 2 weeks for a response and if there is any way to get a ETA on when that would be? He stated that since its in a escalated state that he couldn't do anything as it is being work by another department that is handing this and should just wait for the email as it is being work on currently.
I guess i'll just wait then....even though I have been waiting for 2 weeks and 4 days to have this issue (a mistake on my part -_-) fix.![]()
My brother got his code 3 hours after I hung up with an agent. She 'escalated' our ticket. THERE IS HOPE GUYS!Fml. I got through to an agent the second I called and my mic wasn't working.
Went back into Queue immediately after and waited for 43 mins.
I finally got an agent on the line and she escalated my case with my ticket number. Usually from what I've heard from people who have their cases escalated, it usually takes 2 days to solve. So fingers crossed.
Here is what I did. I got skype one month US & Canada subscription for 2.99/month. Spammed called 1-2 mins before support is up. Once you hear a MALE voice (female voice is when phone lines are closed) prompting to select options, spam 1 and wait. I did that and got a agent the SECOND I called ... but mic wasn't working so I had to re-wait in queue for another 43 mins.
I waited in total 10 days in chat queue for my brother. Did this one call. He waited 3hs10mins on long distance call on his cell phone only to get hung up on once it was his turn. Yeah, my brother better love having me as a sister.

Ok I went through about 20 pages of this. I am so bummed out.
I preordered the game through amazon, the day it was supposed to be delivered I had to work. I got a text at 12:03pm saying it was delivered. When I got home at 6:30pm the package was gone. I assume it was stolen. Luckily Amazon has amazing customer service, they sent me another copy, free of charge.
It finally came in the mail Friday, I got off work, my car had a DEAD battery. I was freaking out, I needed to get home cause my copy of FFXIV was there! Thank god when I got home the package was STILL there! WHOOHOO!!!!
...then I went and registered it to the wrong service account. I swear it feels like something is against me playing this game. I am trying to get on chat support but I cannot find the option anywhere. Can some one please post a direct link? I would be extremely greatful. (I can only find email support, I have accidently made a ton of tickets while trying to find the chat support)
I plan on trying to call tonight, but I have had zero luck with that so far.

On the new page, you get a ticket number in green and SAVE that page
'cause you need that page to get the chat support link with your ticket number etc.

I just got the PS3 promo code in my email today. Now I just need to figure out how to apply it.
You know what, all this wrong service account crap is total BS, however, looking through this thread shows just how awesome, helpful, and supportive the FFXIV:ARR community is, despite customer service being horrible.
I must say, that is very refreshing in an online community.
