Archer epic gear???

Raid gear is a pretty failed idea to begin with, since it offsets any real reason to craft or pay for crafts...

And whats our incentive to go kill NM's? Earn money to go buy crafted weapon? I didn't think so.

You can't think so completely one-sided. Finding the balance between "raid gear" or NM drops, and crafted gear, is very very difficult. I don't think any MMO to date has gotten it right.

Well is very simple Thane, just let the "Raid" bosses drop epic mats for epic gear..as simple as that, so u have incentive to go kill a boss and crafters have the incentive to make money crafting the gear.

Now they need to make uber epic gear crafted from those mats and not the silly items they added on the so called "HNMs" they added when nms were first introduced.

I didn't even know that they were redoing the battle system. Anyone got a link? I'm not worried about epic gear yet. This game is designed to be fun, not something where you do the same things over and over again (like WoW). If you want better gear, get crafting, and make it.

Just search the forums, there's mention of it everywhere lol. Yoshida himself has mentioned several times in his letters, that revamping the battle system is the top priority.
