    Bard, Crit Rate vs Accuracy

    So far I haven't been able to find any relevant information regarding those stats,
    I'm new to FF and my highest character is my bard LV.38

    I'm trying to figure out which stats would be best as far as gear goes,
    I'm having a hard time to decide between CRITICAL HIT RATE and ACCURACY.

    Some gear have both but most of the time they have one of the other, combined with other stats.

    Is there a precise amount of ACC that you need before putting the rest in CRIT ?

    As of right now , both stats are as followed:

    CRIT = 302
    ACC = 241

    Thank you for your input!

    For leveling, accuracy is probably preferred. At 50, crit rate is definitely useful for a passive that you get. For now, I would just focus on maintaining maximum ilevel (assuming that the gear still has useful stats). It's not worth giving up defense or dex in favor of a particular stat while leveling.

    Thanx for the info although, It's not so much about giving up DEFENSE or DEX , let's say you have two sets of chest, both gives you same stats, STR, DEX, VIT, but the first one also has ACC, and on the second set instead of ACC you get CRIT..

    Which one should I go for? Is there a specific amount OF ACC needed to go through tougher bosses later on ? What's that number? because once I hit that specific amount then I can carefully pick the remaining of my gear with CRIT in mind?

    Thanx!

    just take anything that is an upgrade, don't worry about stats. pretty much when you get to 50 the only gear you can use has crit and accuracy so choosing upgrades is a no-brainer.

    Ohh ok well then if it's the case then it's a no brainer, since gear around my level rarely have both, you always have to choose between one or another..
    Thank you for the info

    That is probably the worst information i have ever heard anyone give in my life.
    I level 50 bard with full dark light and i had same issue as you did. All my gear has ACC when i prefer crit hit rate since i never miss. For the most part the gear is better but there are a few pieces that are clearly better. If you are fight mobs that are even level with you are maybe 1-2 higher take crit hit rate... If they are way higher 5+ you will want the acc.

    You are accuracy capped for equal level enemies and below just with the base accuracy rating you have. At level 50, this means that before Coil, you want crit, det, and skillspeed over accuracy anywhere you can get it. Some accuracy is unavoidable, but when you have a choice, go for the not-accuracy piece.
