been doing coil and even just the first boss is near untankable as a warrior, just letting y'all know

and if you havent been in coil, dont even bother posting; titan is pretty much the last thing thats tankable

Heres the big comparison:

warriors : +15% healing

Paladins : -20% damage taken

bosses hit harder than healers heal, so paladins will always have the advantage because neither will ever get 1 shot

As a level 22 MRD, I have to say that you're wrong. Just kidding, obviously. Again.. Emphasis on the "just kidding". I know nothing about end game.

On a serious note.. That sucks to hear, as I really love MRD/WAR.

Not surprised at all. I started getting this feeling at level 41 on Stone Vigil. When I was getting spammed with Cure 2 to be kept alive while PLD tanks get Cure 1 half the time and are fine. It's sad really.

cadaceus, the first boss of coil has 4k bursts at the first damage phase, autoattacks between 1k-1.8k. as the fight progresses the boss hits harder and harder, as a warrior, we can try to rotate our tanking rotations but we run out. the boss splits into 2, and then they have to be separated so 1 healer per tank. even non stop cure IIing and rotation tank spell rotations, its just not healable unless you get extremely lucky.

Sad to hear that warrior main tanking isnt sounding viable. Guess I will have to work up Paladin for the guild or just resort to being a backup tank/dps player

Anilogas is this in the ilvl 70 gear for the ilvl 90 content? Isnt there supposed to be something in between the hard modes and binding coil?

Don't be so hard on yourself. Like Griffeth said, you're mostly using iLv70 gear for content advertised as iLv80+.

And if your healer is in a similar situation, he/she won't keep up either. Let's wait until some iLv80 geared Warriors are tanking this before writing them off.

While it is sad that Paladins are able to tank this gear in the current ilvl 70 stuff, once we have some ilvl 80 gear I am sure we will be able to tank the content better than those wussies hiding behind shields
