I wouldn't want this, could make it impossible for some classes to find a group for a duty because people doesn't want to go with that class
I do think they should limit it to max 1 of the same class in a party with the duty finder though

That would make DPS queues even longer. Also I don't agree with OP. If you want a speed run you look for it manually, duty finder is to easily find groups to do things the normal way.

That feature ALREADY EXISTS, and it's called "Player Search".
But once a duty finder is set in place in any MMO, people simply forget or don't bother to use the manual party-making assist tools that are in the game.
Seen this in TERA, seen this in WoW, seeing this in ARR now.
I wonder why that happens, once the game has an auto-party matcher, people simply forget the other tools at their disposal.
It may not be THE solution but it's certainly nice to see some ideas thrown out there - because while the duty finder is effective yet too simplistic. There are plenty of MMORGP with management system que/finders that work well; this isn't ground breaking or unchartered territory. My concerns regarding the duty finder i feel are very important.
With the way the duty finder is programmed now, you simply click join, with all the classes desired already pre set.
A system that would work better -
A leader can create a group to be sought in duty finder specifying the classes he/she desires, a description of the expectations of the duty at hand (example: Speed run, Experienced members only, ETC)
With this anyone seeking a particular duty can pull up duty finder, browse through the groups that are available, for that specific duty, worldwide, and join the one that best suits their needs.
My main complaint about this stems from when joining the Titan hard battle through duty finder, a BRD or SCH is often sought after for MP issues (among other things) and there is absolutely no need for an off tank, yet the Duty Finder *requires* this off tank, that isn't even necessary.
Uh, what assist tools? That feature ALREADY EXISTS, and it's called "Player Search".

If you consider using the player search function to blindly asking players to see if they need a certain dungeon is a party assist feature, well you are mistaken, you are also mistaken that there are any party assist tools available. If that was the case, why am i spending so much time shouting for the dynamic group i need to defeat Titan, without the useless off tank who wants to get carried to victory?
