Nice thread, hope SE can answer these soon.
Thankfully Akihiko Matsui should be posting in the forums in the coming days about more details on the Battle system, per the Producer's letter
I'm stoked to see what is going to be happening.
I also liked the post and now bumping.
Has he at least posted any info in the japanese forums?
nothing atm

Will we please see real FF jobs and finally get rid of these silly classes?
It's crazy but there really are no Dev tags that are extremely pertinent to the battle system other than the auto-attack on... Which was added
I think it might be because they are past the discussion phase and they're just finalizing everything now...
Who knows?
Either way, thanks Al
Thats funny, I've talked about this in a few other threads and thats actually something I REALLY want to see...
If Akihiko has the answer. I'd be ecstatic to hear it, but I was thinking that a completely different team worked on the animations and MOB models than the ones who are working on the actual battle mechanics...
I'm actually starting a thread soon on Incaps... I really like the idea of it, and it puts me in the mind of Monster hunter and could most definitely be implemented better
