There's nothing anyone can say at this point to back up claims besides pointing to experience.

So far, only really good MNKs and BRDs have been able to out damage(threat) me. Average ones still lose. This is assuming that, for a DPS class, we have no + or - enmity mechanics for our attacks.

You really use threat to measure dps? Huh that means I am the best dps in the game considering I destroy people when it comes to threat. I recall many times pulling threat from the tank or being close to it.

As of right now it's the best measure, and you don't take any single instance of it. Over a period of runs, if you're generally always #2, you know you're doing something right.

yeah same for me i either pull from tank or im right on the edge constantly the way i see it thm/blk mage is the best dps as of right now if you are going off of threat
