My dps is so high that everytime I alt+tab, the game tells me I just did 90000 in a second. Previously it was 1017 so the ring upgrade I got was probably what did it.
Are we over the 90000 jokes yet? Methinks not.
Back on topic, I think that heavy movement fights in equal gear and skill BLM followed closely by Bard. In an ideal environment, most probably MNK.

Without some kind of "check" being done to make it official it looks like ARC/BARD to me and this is why.
1. Two DoT in the rotation that both gets buffs at higher levels. (Venomous Strike & Wind Bite)
2. Raging Strikes
3. Internal Release
4. Hawk Eye
5.Then Quick Knock that can kit multiple targets and also gets an enhancement later at higher levels as well.
For those that say you may lose DPS while moving...bull crap...only if you don't know how to play you will.
All this and I am not even adding in the other cross class abilities.

Disagree completely. Each fight certain jobs will pull ahead. SMN and BRD tend to do the best in high movement fights(both those jobs movement dps far exceeds blm) and melee as well as blm accel at fights which has less movement. If you want to use parses as a basis for your argument, it says i beat blms and brds all the time by a modest amount.
I can play that game with any dps watch:Without some kind of "check" being done to make it official it looks like ARC/BARD to me and this is why.

1. 4 DoTs in rotation that can get extended by garuda-egi
2. Pet Damage that does 150+ damage every 2.5 seconds
3. Spur
4. Rouse
5. Fester that does 700ish damage without raging strike and crits for 1k+
6. Bane spreads DoTs to multiple targets, miasma 2 is also AoE as well as Shadow flare
7. Ruin 2 can be cast on the move and since your DoTs that are casted have t be done every so often you have pretty good movement dps even in situations where noone can attack the boss.

Monk is actually the highest dmg in the game on boss encounters. The problem is that they require much more effort than everyone else to put out that dmg.
There is no breathing room for error. Monks can't afford to make many mistakes or flub their rotation and lose greased lightning stacks or their dps will plummet. Other classes don't have the positional requirements, melee range, and complexity of the monks rotations/buffs to keep track of so it's much easier for them to produce numbers.
Monk and summoners are top dps, my fastest run in amdapor keep has been 12:24 with me as summoner and other person as monk.
on paper monk , no doubt , but is hard to pull the Monk rotation on some bosses that u need to joust or move every 10s , still u can move away and "charge back" with that cool move :3 so u are back in melee in no time....
Just to point out...Dragoons also have to rely on position for optimal damage output. Other than that, I don't have the experience to add anything else.Monk is actually the highest dmg in the game on boss encounters. That "cool move" has a minute and a half cooldown, it isn't going to be up nearly often enough.
