    Ability to wear armor should not in any way be tied to ability to use a hammer

    Gear needs to be clearly differentiated in what it's restrictions are:

    - Plate armor - requires STR to wear
    - Mage armor - requires MND or INT

    Restricting armor by your chosen weapon makes no sense at all. If I'm a mage and I want to jack my STR to wear plate mail, then so be it. I'm a crappy mage, but I'm strong so I can wear plate mail. Armor restrictions should be tied to something meaningful outside of Discipline Rank. I'm interested to see how all of this plays out when they introduce jobs and such. Because I want a system that has flexibility - but where using that flexibility forces you to make specific trade offs so that you are intelligently and deliberately building a character. To make this work we need stats that work and have an impact on play.

    Arbitrary restrictions just create cookie cutter builds with everyone at a certain class/rank looking exactly the same.
