They already said they are keeping them multiple times! They really like it for something that a player can do if they are hoping on for just a short time. They want to at least keep this for a casual side to gameplay, just be patient and w8 for more content which is coming real soon lol

Guildleves are set up to how each disiple levels up. They are not quests persay and do not really need to be changed. If you find them boring, simply do not do them. Just grind mobs.

this is how they are set up

War and magic level up by killing things, so guildleves are about killing things.
Hand is about making things, so guildleves are crafting work orders
Land is about gathering things so our guildleves are about gathering.

these are simply in game jobs of how we earn my gil, while leveling our classes.

Lore reason is we do them in preperation of a possible attack and for something for us to do instead of sitting on our butts.

Also lore is hard to change w.o ruining the story.

My suggestion for guild leve's is this, I think there should be an option on every battle guild leve to choose "reward = sp" or "reward = guild points". I also think we should have the option to choose any guild leve in a city. This would allow everyone to participate that wants in on a certain leve and also choose their method of reward.

Really making the game sound attractive with that line. If you don't like the ONLY CONTENT IN THE GAME, don't do it!

Also, there's barely any lore to begin with i'm sure they can change a few things and it wouldn't really matter. The game's background isn't even fully fleshed out.

There's a history, a pantheon, tribes, governments, and factions. You do not just "change a few things and it wouldn't really matter" espially after release.

And no, they are not the only content in the game.

i dunno why ive seen so many posts like "i think they should stay ..." the thread's name was
Please Change Guild Leves... not please get rid of them.

And honestly. This system does have potential, even though i think its the very easy and cheap way of implementing content but thats another story.

And i also think that this system is not even close to add immersion due to the fact that its just a very artificial way of "poping" mobs into the area by pressing an aetherite....

But since this system is so "basic" we should see like 100 times the amount of different leves by now, i don't think they are so hard to implement since you dont need a very special story for it (don't even dare to say the leve stories add immersion lmao)

The argument to just go grind mobs is lame since there are not that many good party locations. There are simply not enough mobs in this game (engine holds a lot of them back i think - looking at the retainer wards the game just cant handle a lot of npcs/mobs at the same tims - big lol to that failed engine which was designed for a single player rpg not an mmo and obviously didnt got tweaked enough, lets hope for a miracle)

    They lack creativity a lot.

Why not have the same leve every few months so it doesnt get old and have us chose more like 20 different kinds every day. and have at least 10 of them matching for everyone in the game each day so there wont be a problem of leve link.

im just glad leveling is faster now, remembering how many "dodo" leves i did... the dodo-leves really felt like SE is giving us the finger lol

Leves, crafting, a few NMs. Sooooooorry. You can still ADD to the current lore without changing what's already there. Like I said, the background isn't even fully fleshed out.

I take it you skip all the conversations or something? Or don't go talking to various NPCs in town?

Quite the contrary, I'm all about my lore. NPCs barely tell you anything. "Well, my home of ala mihgo was ruined so here I am in this shitty camp with my two friends. No we won't give you any quests that actually detail any of this we'll just speak this one line of text. Bye."

A lot if has to do with the poor world design though. Even if there was a detailed backstory on most of the areas, they're so boring IN-GAME that it wouldn't be convincing.

Are you saying that doesn't make sense?

The only content in Fifa is playing football. I don't like it, so I don't do it. I don't complain on Fifa's forums that it needs more content adding to make it more fun.

I don't know why people who play as DoW/DoM jobs are disappointed that all of the leves basically involve going out and killing mobs. If you picked the job that uses a sword, guess what your main gameplay mechanic is going to be. Yup, going out and hitting mobs with your sword. Sometimes you'll have to hit a specific number of mobs with your sword, sometimes you'll need to collect trophies from the mobs you hit with your sword. End of the day, you're going to be hitting mobs with your sword.

*replace sword with suitable weapon/magic for your class.

If killing mobs wasn't what you wanted to be doing, then maybe the crafting or gathering jobs will be more your thing. If not, then you're playing the wrong game.
