PS3 User wanting to use m&kb

I am a ps3 user wanting to use my mouse and keyboard instead of my controller but anyways i have it all setup except for the problem of using my skills. Is there anyway of setting my skills to 1-0 and only having to target a monster and then press 1 instead of having to target a monster and press tab+1 lol that is the only way i have seem to find that it lets me do besides clicking my skills with my mouse but i grow tired of that. So any help with this would be wonderful

Nope that's the only way you can do it. They had it set up using 1-0 in beta 3 and it worked awesome. But for whatever reason it was taken out in beta 4. I to prefer m&kb over controller.

Yea lol love m&kb lol someone asked me earlier in game when i was asking there if i had it switched to keyboard because they said it was working for them using 1-0 only but sadly couldnt figure out how exactly becaase my internet decided to go out lol

Lol yeah it does work. For pc players. I keybinf 7 and 9 on the number pad which makes it a little easier but still awkward.

Whaaat? You guys have to hit tab Everytime you use a skill? Wtf...

Why don't they just port over the m/kb configuration from the PC version?

They did in phase 3 then for whatever reason took it out. I'm guessing like everything else to not over complicate or add stress to new players. Still lame.

I personally find the controller more enjoyable than the mouse and keyboard. Its similar to why Diablo 3 is better on console.

I don't mind the controller to much but when you play an archer running and pressing L2 + up isn't very efficient. Also if prefer being able to access, multiple hotbars at the same time. At 50 you can't fit all your moves on 2 bars and using R1 to switch slows you down if you have more then 2.

You can try putting all your offensive skills on the shape button side (tri, sqr, cir, x) and all your buff /heal/ items on the dpad side. I found that this works well for me. Also pressing R1 to switch hotbars during battle doesn't slow me down because there is a 2.5sec global cooldown... giving you time to switch crossbars.

I also have my crossbars setup custom where only my BATTLE skills show during combat. all my other skills show up when I'm not in combat. This is easily setup in the options. Not many people experimented with it like I have. I posted a video tutorial up on this forum, but here it is if you haven't seen the thread.
