    Oh one last thing..this one is a long shot. Do you have more than one network adapter in your computer? Sometimes they can conflict and cause odd problems. If by chance you do, disable the inactive one and see if that does anything.

    Not sure what you mean, i only have on Ethernet port.

    Um if you are running Windows 7 go to the control panel and then the network and sharing center. Then click change adapter settings. What do you have listed here?

    I only have local area connection. I don't have any wireless adaptors, this is a desktop.
