Been happening since launch day. Have tried multiple times everyday throughout the day. My character is only level 27 because I managed to get him there during early access. Have been unable to play since.
Maybe it is a problem with your internet connection. What kind of setup do you have?
Well that sucks. Maybe try another server, or maybe it's an issue with your computer. Most people are able to get in with no issues now, so I wouldn't say it's a huge issue anymore just a few isolated cases. I went from playing on pc last night to logging in on my ps3 at 10pm on a friday night and got in a queue of 8. Also server transfers will be an option later, I would feel playing on any sever and moving later is better than just not playing.
This occurs on every character, no matter what server. There's no problem with my connection as there are rare times in which I am getting into game and playing like a quest or two before getting 90kd. This issue doesn't happen with any other game I play that requires connection to a game's servers. My ISP is not the cause because I talked to them. While I may be in a college dorm, it is VERY good internet, perhaps better than the internet I had at home. It's just as open NAT as my home's router is as well. This is literally a problem that can't be fixed from everything I can do personally.
I don't believe system info is required for a instance in which I'm receiving no data packets from SE. I.E. Getting R: 0 everytime while my sending is phenomenal.
Have you tried releasing the IP from the TCP stack and then renewing it? Worth a shot. This occurs on every character, no matter what server. Also check to see that the firewall is allowing a connection to the required ports for the game.
The whole not receiving packets thing leads me to believe it could be a firewall issue.
I have never lived in a dorm but I tried playing UO way back in the day in a friends dorm room and we couldn't keep connection for shit there. I'm not seeing what you are but it could be something weird with that if you're on like the school line, have you played any mmo's before on this service or any other persistent online game? I've seen large networks like this refresh your connections often and that could be causing the disconnect. But idk what kind of internet a college dorm has, I haven't been in a dorm room in 10 years due to the fact of being old as shit now.
Guild Wars 2, Tera, League of Legends, Smite, Torchlight II, and WoW all work flawlessly on this connection, FFXIV is the only black sheep.I have never lived in a dorm but I tried playing UO way back in the day in a friends dorm room and we couldn't keep connection for shit there.
