Perhaps "immerse" yourself in some rule 34 of ff14 and settle down a bit. Just a suggestion

On an argutive note, I dont see a single difference except the issue with that guys tale poking out of his armor in a odd way. That one is actualy a issue. Your pictures look exactly the same to me, and im comming from TOR which had a clear Rear issue with the guys popping out of thier robe like beyonce.

It's because of the change that the lower body has suffered but it doesn't look chronic on petite characters.. thing is.
yea the problem is down there + the busty choice makes it.......righto... not too good for the eyes hey.

We have a smaller lower body on every character and huge boobs, looks very unappealing with a busty character.

I feel like yea it was the change in graphics and everything but because of the obvious problem it's caused it shouldn't be the only body shape.
They could just make a new fresh body shape for the lower body parts on all the races as an optional choice.

Yep, they'd have to redo every model and even set NPCs which at times aren't tied to the player models

I don’t see why adding an additional body type in character customization for playable characters would have anything to do with the npcs that are tied to the original body shape.

Someone said that this would be a waste of SE’s money and they would need to hand out more potions for character re-creation, but here is the thing.
When they put those character creations up for sale and you can buy them with real money, more customization options is exactly what will get people buying those potions.
They wouldn’t lose money over it, they would make money for sure.

I have been playing the game this whole time, but damn I can't help but notice how much this wrecks the experience and it continues to wreck the experience the entire time I play.

Often I've actually gotten over seeing it, been annoyed so much by it that I've jumped off the game and done other things simply because it bothers me so much.

With this little detail solved the game would be much more enjoyable, I've taken it far because SE need to understand it's a real problem thats effecting players.

In a game I want perfection, especially a game like FF14 and I want to enjoy the game to it's maximum potential.

These minor details kinda are holding the game back in ways that it could be superior in.
I've put like 5mins a day into this thread now, worked all week long, gone out with family and friends.
When I come home to play FFXIV I expected more than this for my characters over all appearance.

My character has cloths on, and they all look horrible because she is miss-shaped/miss-match.
My point is that in this game you shouldn't feel forced to only use equipment that covers your character completely like robes just coz everything else looks wrong, everything should look nice in this game.

I'd like to know why they actually changed the shape? They could have lowered polygons without altering the shape that much.

I must mention that I noticed the issue before this because of the top part of the inside of the thighs. Some races have a rather sudden sharp point if you look closely, but the cel-shaded esque skin toning seems to hide the edges somewhat.

apparently, my tail is too gangster to exit properly at the designated spot in the armor.

I have noticed this and also a lot of hairs glitch trough the clothing.
