Was my money wasted?

Im having the same issue, ive been trying to get in touch with SE for 2 days now.
@nev I appreciate your solution but I rebought the game for me not to have to resell it or give it away.

No where on the purchasing page on the SE store does it say in big red letters "FFXIV previous owners will not recieve 30 day game time upon purchase" if it did I wuld not have bought it.

Even if you did get the 30 days the purchase would be illogical. The game costs more than a 30 day subscription. Why would you do that? And why would they put big red letters on there anyway? They straight up told you you don't need to buy the game at all. I've never heard of an MMO where you could buy another copy of the game to get game time.
