Lack of Farming Spots (weaving)+botters

Ok so for major levels in weaving you need diremite and fleece well there are only 2 farm spots for diremite webs with a total of 10 mobs spawn points and 7 spawn points for Fleece..

This needs to change if more than 1 person is farming its stupid if botters are farming its even more stupid.. Botters ahve claimed these spots and are flooding the markets with there expensive monopoly of the items.

I love to far items for my DOH classes but this is silly..

A GM should be posted at al the farming spots and insta jail all botters, or the market is gonna be horrible and players are gonna go broke buying from them (cant tell who the sellers are due to the retainer naming system) than they will go sell gil with RMT. Please SE fix the root of the issue dont let it get so far they are making loads of money right now.

Well here is an option too.

Moving to another zone to try and get those items or training mobs on the botters (the more fun option ) <-- Note I say that because the programs they use are illegal and frankly I report them while I do it.

I would love to move to another zone but like I said there are only 2 spots for each and there all botted up. training them would be funny but most are highenough to handle them heh

Bah :\ Training them would stop them for that instant for you to harvest though!

I am trying to find a way to help you here as I have had RMTs spamming my chat box every second. I hate the Bots and RMTs and like to classify them into 1 category.

Crica, WHM's have an instant cast spell, Aero.
Either way, I wouldn't call it his/her fault when there's 12 botters in the area claiming all the monsters.

not learning to claim faster is their own fault - i can claim just fine on my Lv50 WHM

the issue the OP is having is they are not being able to farm as fast as they WANT to due to OTHER PLAYERS farming the SAME items they are

they want their items NOW or its broken

No that's not it at all. The OP is complaining about Bots (a third party program) is controlling characters to harvest vast quantities of an item mat and they cannot harvest any.

Its like a level 50 coming into a level 1 area and agroing all the level 1 mobs then killing them. Its the haha its mine mentality.

that is how the game is set up - the first player to tag a mob is the player who gets the loot from the mob

which is why the OP needs to learn to claim faster

i have farmed around ARC with my WHM and i can claim just fine

i cant claim EVERY mob when other players are around, no, but thats to be expected since im not the ONLY player trying to claim

Yes I dont mind taking time to farm its what its all about but when botters are using cheats to take away real players spots to farm the right way there is a problem.. are there no bots on excalibur due to it being a legacy server? Cuz here on cactuar there outta control.
