Skipping Audio, Sound Channels issue?

SOLVED- See below

My FFXIV client often skips sound effects & segments of BGM.
The more congested my audio, the more sound effects/music skips I experience.
The sound never cuts out completely, and if I'm alone (ie. in an Inn Room), generally no audio skips.
Audio drivers are updated, and this only occurs with ARR (Worked fine w/ 1.0 ironically enough).

Any information that maybe required I should be able to provide on request.

The same thing was happening to me on my old CPU. It was an intel pentium e5700. I recently upgraded to an Intel core quad q8400 and I have had no problems.

As it turns out, that was the problem.
I have an AMD Athlon II X2 processor. After some digging, I found a (old) driver and it fixed the audio issues.

Hi. I also have an old AMD II X2 processor and I am also experiencing the sound skipping issues. By any chance could you tell me what driver was causing the problem and where you downloaded it from? Thank you in advance.
