You could always just ignore all the party requests and stick to playing with your Free Company and if those who end up being rude will probably just be kicked from the Free Company for degrading another player.

Well there are still a lot of things that need to be covered in this game before anyone is truely ready for endgame.

one being Food because food in this game provide bonus stats that can be very useful for endgame. Ya they're small but they can pack a punch in higher levels.

Another is a proper understand of what each class/job can do and cannot do in the group.

There is also obtaining the necessary cross-skills needed for the class/job the players will be using.

Gear preparation is easily covered by Darklight set.

We also still need to wait for housing for the other benefits to help us prepare for endgame as well.

I know there is most likely more that has yet to be covered but this is all I can come up with now.

That's true and all, but that's not the point of my gripe. Then again, it was just one pug group. I won't let it get to me, and i know well that those A-holes where in a group together.

Just because it's typical internet behavior to act like a complete tool doesn't mean that an online community must tolerate it. However, because I was expecting this sort of "WoW-behavior" I intend to stick to doing duties and hard modes with FC-mates.

I had my mind set on transferring to a NA/EU world because my friends are playing there. The only thing preventing me from really going for it are all these horror stories I've been hearing with gil seller spammers, and ridiculously hostile DF encounters that are giving people a glimpse of the state of the general community outside a decent free company.

If it doesn't improve over time, then hell no. I'm staying over here. It's closer to where I live anyway and better ping. If it weren't for my friends, I wouldn't even consider transferring. Somehow I wish I could persuade them to transfer over to this world as soon as the transfers are available but they don't really feel comfortable with a Legacy server so.. meh. ._.'

start screencaping these people. send the screenshots to support. report for harrasment and abuse. hell send it to shitaku or whatever! might get an article even, then square will get their asses in gear.

square should do what guild wars 2 did. you want to be a degenerate? you wanna be rude and call people names? here have a ban. there really should be zero tolerance for this type of crap. i mean square already copied some of what gw2 did, that being halting digital sales for now. might as well institute this too. the fact you paid for the product does not give you right to harras and abuse people.
