SE pls remove the DOH/DOL, if you nurf it so much

as a full 50 crafter/gatherer, i dropped both DOH/DOL in ARR for now.
why?
so simple, coz person doesn't need what crafter made.

during level your new class from 0 to 50, you have plenty way to get eqs:
- quest, i am pretty sure, if you doing quests, you will have regular sets all the way from 0 to 50
- leves: so many eqs reward already and dont forget about the chest, i have lots of pink eqs from the leves chest.
- raid: nice way to get eqs and xp. especially if you pt with legacy ppl with old jobs, you probably will get everything from the chest, need/greed.
- market(not made by crafter): since many ppl doing quest, there are many eqs dumped to the market. you will pay very little around 500~2000 to get those eqs which rewarded from quests.
- NPC vendor: last choice, still pretty cheap and easy accessible, lvl 40 eqs just need 3000~5000gil and you can buy those from every camp.

well, what about when you lvl 50, we call END game?

that is really an END to crafter too.
2 star eqs not as good as those raid exchange blue eqs.
and with current request, it is even more expensive to get the material (coke etc) than just exchange those blue eqs.
in 1.0 there are 5 slots of craft eqs. theoretically you still have possible to pump up the craft eq better than darklight sets.
right now? 2 slots with shitty materia? why bother?

this game right now is F.A.T.E and raid.

maybe there is still market for the alchemist and chef, but how big?

i would prefer them to stay. i dont like some of the changes they did for the recipe's but i would still like to be able to make them. if nothing else i think they could expand upon our current recipe's for all lvl's.

things they could do is make new gear or vanity based crafts for when we get the system. but i would like it if the recipe's requested mats made more sense. i would like to see more styles of gear like bone or jade for some examples. bone harness anyone?

Well the slots in the materia are the 100% success rate slots. you can go beyond that, up to 5 materia per item, but there is a chance to fail and lose the materia. Still, they need to just fix the system. they really messed it up for crafters right at the beginning of ARR's life.

Kinda crazy all this talk about how bad crafting is. Go into a pug hard mode and take a look at the gear. So many people could use gear from these useless professions.Militia gear is better then af Hq militia gear is better then dungeon level 60 gear. level 70 2 star gear better then DL.only thing we are missing is top end game gear. Who to say what gear we can make in future patches. All the gear i just said should be used to get to end game. Not SE fault we have many players that want to do everything in free gear. Simple put crafting is fine.Please stop whining about how hard it is to get coke.....

Really dont even try that. The only people with crafted gear ilvl70 are those who hoarded materials from 1.0. aint no body buying any crafting mats with tomestones, they're getting darklight in place of the gear they didn't have the mats from 1.0 to craft if they need to, or simply getting the ilvl90 gear with mythologies.

You're obviously new, so I'm betting I have more ilvl70 HQ crafted gear than you'll have in months, and I'm not decked out with it, and I didn't and wont waste no tomes on crafting mats either. There are a ton of people with a shit ton more than me, because all their mats came from 1.0, not the vendor at camp Raventroll. No new player will have that many mats created from scratch before they are already decked out in ilvl90 with darklight supplements, and no old player will bother getting any more made by spending tomes. Don't go start trying to rationalize what they did, there is no rationale to it. They got retarded, plain and simple.

Sorry I stated facts and it wasn't good enough for you. Please get off this high horse your on. Not once did i say i better gear but i make the effort to. which like I posted before is a lot more then a lot people do. No need to throw insults. Also if you watch the marked tomes are already down. to make a piece in a week i bet it will cost less then 500k. To be deck out like your talking will take months for 95% of this server most new players already got 300k+ if they saved. So lets all get doomsday on the crafting.
You don't have to like I happen to. Less people in the market means more money for me.

Before you even start talking big ("stop whining", "please get off this high horse your're on") read the posts, comprehend them, possibly repeat those steps a couple of times and then reply again. It's also funny that you're the one to say "no need to throw insults" ...

It's just funny that you're talking this way. You don't seem to even be in the possession of gear that you crafted yourself and you neither have you every crafter maxed out. Yet you try to berate people that have everything maxed out and people that possibly have done nothing but crafting in ARR. Look around the forum, more and more experienced crafters are joining every day saying that crafting is just nort worth it anymore. But I suppose by your definition they all are just whiners ...

Last thing, you said the prices are going down and within a week and that everything will cost less than 500k. I wonder if you EVER checked the market boards, or if you even know what you're talking about. The material prices are stagnating/increasing from 100-250k a piece currently, for a single material! For some items you need over 20 to make the item at the end. There are just a couple of pieces for sale at all, and most of that comes from 1.x. I can't wait to see you creating all the nice HQ ** pieces with you're non existing crafters .
