I dont see the issue here.. Its an MMO. I have yet to play an MMO that allows you to solo through content on the main story sorry but this just doesnt make sense

I enjoy the set-up a lot, it requires people to play with one another that way you don't get a mostly Single Player MMO. I'm going to guess you're new to the FF MMO Style?

Either way, I do understand the frustration if you wanted too sometimes its quicker to use the Shout channel and find a group that way.

WoW, Star Wars, and EVE all do. I have played others but not very much, so I cannot speak about them. Star Wars, your class quest is ALL solo, and so is the planet quest lines. EVE has everything open from the start, they just lock you down based on skill points allocated. There are a handful of "main story arcs" in the game, and are all intended to be ran solo. And WoW didn't have any "main story" quests... in the beginning. Things have changed a bit since then, but even still, not required to group for the content. (unless things changed with Pandas... didn't play that).

Actually what I find cool about this game, the solo content for the story you MUST do it solo. You cannot "outlevel" any of the content since it forces your level down to something appropriate. Forcing you, the player, to learn to play, instead of somehow cheesing through the content.
