    Coerthas! :'(

Did anyone else facepalm at all the stupid that went on in this part of the story?
The bad guy's goons summon a dragon infront of Lord Whatshisface while Mr.Obvious Villain stands there and watches then when Mr. Obvious Villain feigns ignorance the guy buys it? What?!

And how incompetent do the dragons have to be to not completely roflstomp these mentally handicapped elves???!?!

I can deal with the silly we were just testing you banquet story bit but this is just beyond terrible. It made me quite literally sad. I'm sad now. Thanks SE.

I actually enjoyed this part of a story because Ishgard is this enigma wrapped within a conundrum that we get just a little peek into by virtue of the fact that they had something we needed. Yeah, it was pretty obvious what was going on with The Spanish Inquisition.

But rather than be disappointed at how we are forced to play the fool, I'm left wanting answers to a lot of the questions that our little trek through the ice raised.

Was that guy heretical Ishgardian or a Dravanian in disguise? Can the Dravanians grant their followers special powers? Our obvious foe's end certainly left more questions than answers in the saga of Ishgard's cold shouldering of the Eorzean Alliance.

from what I understood that guy was a Dravanian cos you see the real body of actual inquisitor in the ditch outside fort, funny no one actually noticed it, but it does make you wonder why would you go with blind faith on some the things he did like taking the guy to the place of execution before he is even convicted, but as for grating power I would say yea they do grant some sort of power I am thinking of that knight who wouldn't yield he was quite stronger then everyone else heck he was on par with if not stronger then the lord guy.

Dravanians can definitely grant their followers special powers, the biggest example is the very greatest Ishgardian hero himself, Haldrath the first Azure Dragoon. Sure, he pretty much stole that power, but the later Azure Dragoons can definitely be 'seduced' by such power and taken over by it. The power granted is there and is the source of the Azure Dragoon's power (to note 'dragoon' is the name given to Ishgardian cavalry)

And... The guy was an Inquisitor, ishgardians are FIERCELY religious, zealots to the end, they wouldn't dare cast suspicion on an Inquisitor.

Also i'm fairly sure he was simply a heretic in disguise, he did use simple glamour to appear as a dragon, no doubt he could have done so to appear as the inquisitor

There's a reason to that, finish that part of the storyline.

imo what was odd in that history was the ending, how the guy that never trusted you and would never turn against the inquisitor changes his mind so fast at the end of the quests and magically helps you lol

if you at least had shown him the body just at his castle door it would've seem more feasible to see him believing you..

Given the amount of evidence it took, short of you actually cornering said inquisitor, Showing him a body would have probably put YOU on trial instead of helping your cause, if internal Ishgardian Politics are any indication. We're looking at you High Houses.

glad I'm not the only person who feels struck wrong at the very political structure of coerthas.

For one it feels too brutal: if your accused of supporting dravinians, you die regardless of innocence or guilt.

It also feels too zealot like: i help make them an alembic, they get happy. inquisitor walks in, gives condescending bs excuse. *ding* back to square one with you!

unfortunately, regardless of how mentally incompetent these elves are...they're pretty well equipped.

This is why they are a broken country compared to the other city states. You do a sidequest where knight has lost all his sons in the crusades against dragons. Plus inquisitors have too much power he was going to be convicted without trial and when you go to another inquisitor. She just goes "Oh if he is innocent he will be with halone" I was like wth woman? They replaced my hatred for elementals.

Soon as I found out they had inquisitors I knew coerthas is going to be a pain the butt.

Plus the crap they pull further into the story just annoys me.
