So once we get the new code in the email how do we use it? Do we have to download the game again?!?! It wont let you add ps3 service on the mog site.

To clear up some confusion. Not sure why only some PS3 users are getting the email and others aren't. If it wasn't so damn difficult to get through to them I'd contact customer support again and ask them to give me a code right then.
It seems like people who contacted customer support before the emails started going out are just left in limbo waiting, while those who are contacting them today are getting codes instantly. Like it pays to procrastinate and wait until the last minute.
A lot of PS3 players, whether they got escalated a week ago, today, or some time in between, were able to get codes via email, chat, and phone.
So I suppose it's all up in the air.

You'll need to replace XXXXXXX with your ticket number.
That's all. This link was posted yesterday in this thread, I replaced the Xs with my ticket number and got through on the first try.

Now all I get is invalid messages. I'm a NA PS3 user who got a "new code" for registering to a new service account.
This happen to anyone else?? This is bullshit. How do they fuck up a fix?
Original Ticket was sent in last Friday 08/30/13
Ticket was escalated yesterday 09/04/13
Just received email a few minutes ago with my new PS3 NA code.
I'm gonna write this step-by-step as I do it myself.
This is for PS3 users only
1: From your PS3 dashboard, go to Account Management, and then Redeem Code.
2: Enter the 12-digit code you received from Square Enix. (You can skip the download if you already have FFXIV:ARR installed on your PS3.)
3: Start the game and log into your Square Enix account via the launcher. Select "Play."
4: Accept the Terms and Service Agreement
5: It will ask you to select a service account. BE SURE TO SELECT THE ACCOUNT THAT HAS YOUR CHARACTERS AND CE ITEMS!!! ONCE SELECTED, SCROLL ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM AND SELECT "NEXT."
DO NOT SELECT "CREATE NEW SERVICE ACCOUNT!!!"
6: Verify that the "service account", and "service option to be added" is correct before hitting next again. (It should list your characters and all CE items.)
As soon as you hit "Next" on this screen, the registration will be fully accepted, and there will be no chance to go back and change!!! Be absolutely sure all the information is correct before continuing!!!
7:It should now return you to the launcher, where you can hit "Play"
8: Once the game launches, you should now be able to select the correct service account, and play with your characters.
9: Have fun!
To those still waiting for their codes, I wish you all the best of luck, and hopefully you should be getting them soon.

Man, I got all excited when I noticed that I was moving from 4 down to 3 then back up to 4 and then 3, etc. Then I got the no available agents. What was the point in that?![]()
I'm already on the phone with these people on hold. Is there any chance they'll give me a VALID code with the correct amount of characters right away?
I already tried removing the first and last character. Both invalid. It's the middle string. This is what they gave me: 84ANT
