Bit of a bigger one.
Make the checks client side based instead of server side.
This way every thing from clicking an item/crafting/activating and 'instant spell' will be more snappy and direct.
It will just feel less sluggish.

Hello,
I would like to see added here some of the suggestion that we gave in this thread, as I see that this post is being constantly monitored by the devs.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/79890
It may or may not have been mentioned, but please please please!
Allow us to request repairs again - I can't believe that you've decided our only options should be - 1) Level every craft your DoW/DoM might need for repairs or 2) Pay exorbitant amounts to a mender NPC.
Why? If I want to help friends out with dungeons on my high level classes I should not need to carry a trash set of gear for fear we might die.
It sours the experience of trying to help out when your Lv50 weapon breaks in Satasha because you're trying to help/teach a new Tank/Healer/DPS how to play in a group setting.
It also sucks I can't help out new players with broken gear.
I understand the game needs time/gil sinks, but this makes helping out new players - or learning by trial and error - very frustrating and time consuming.

I suggested the exact thing quite a few pages ago, unfortunately the OP hasnt been updated for nearly a week now so quite a few suggestions are missing. Not sure if this was mentioned but.... Please tweak the debuff icons on your target. While green numbers for the time left is great to figure out which debuffs are yours, it is simply a pain to keep track of your debuffs on the monster when there are many players. Especially during FATEs it's almost impossible to keep track of them because they constantly change position and you can only get a glimpse of the green numbers.
Suggestion: Display debuffs that are cast by the player always first and debuffs cast by other players behind them. So if I have 4 debuffs on my target I would know that the first 4 icons are cast by me. Another nice touch would be, that debuffs that are cast by you have a bigger icon size so it's even easier to track them. This could be optional via character settings though.
Didnt read through everything to know if its already been mentioned, but its pretty annoying to not be able to queue for the duty finder, or to be kicked from the queue if you summon your companion. This doesnt make sense since most folks are busy questing etc while waiting for the queue which is the perfect time to use your companion.

Most games will give about 5 minutes before they automatically flag someone AFK (as in showing in-game as AFK to let people know you're away) and then another 15 minutes before they boot you off the game. If what you're doing is going to take longer than that, you can deal with the oh-so-onerous burden of clicking "Start" and then your character one more time.
Whoa, I'm all for the afk kick. but 20 minutes is too short. The idea is to boot people who are clogging the system for 16 hours because of sleep and work. Not because someone went out to let their dog pee, pour a glass of water, or even negotiate certain fc ideas on ventrillo. I still say 45 min is a good call.

Special section for bait/lures as a fisher. Keeping 1½ almost 2 pages with bait is beginning to be a real pain. Not to mention moving them in and out of retainers whenever you feel like fishing is even worse.
I would love to have the ability to sort my bag space by item type. Same goes for the company chest.
Also, I'd like the ability to toggle which quests are active and listed at the right side of the screen.

Parties for Company leves like other leves would be nice. Hate playing an MMO where I constantly have to drop party.Greetings,
While this might not have been brought up in this thread, I wanted to pass along some information here as this thread seems quite appropriate.
We’re aware that there are times you might not realize you are capped on Grand Company seals and turn in items for supply missions only to find the seals you were given were not added because you exceeded the limit.
While it will be after patch 2.1, we are planning to display a confirmation window indicating that you are going to exceed the cap with the reward you are receiving.
I'd like it so that someone can't just run up to an NPC I'm talking to, skip through all the dialogue, and thereby cause me to miss the story. This issue occurs with FATE NPCs, and it's just aggravating. Start the FATE if they do this, but make the NPC continue talking as if the FATE hadn't started to people already engaged in a conversation, rather than interrupting it.
Players shouldn't have such blatant power to ruin the experience for others.
