There's a side quest from the priest in the church that blocks you from seeing the main story quest he has available. I can't remember if you have to actually do the side quest for the story quest to be available, or if it's just that he doesn't appear to have a story quest because the side quest icon takes precedence for some reason. Regardless, talk to the priest. At worst, you have to do one side quest first (and then likely level up to meet the story quest's level requirement).

Thanks, took all the side quests in the area and then the main story line one popped up.
