Personally i'd love Summoner, and although story reasons so far do not permit it, i'm sure there could be a way in the future, I'd also love to have Dragoon and Beastmaster type jobs as well as Puppet Master. I think PUP was some of the most fun i've had in a while, and i loved the customization half of it.
Well, every FF had summoners...but since there's primals here, let us have Eidolons instead! *puts some heavy metal music and brings out her "Truck avatar" with flame decals!*
Also, there's a thing...there's many many avatars from a very same element...We can have Siren instead of Garuda, Cerberus instead of Ifrit, Quatzacoatl instead of Ramuh, etc.
Only ones we may not have are Bahamut and Alexander...because they seens to be kinda dead in Mor Dhona atm ^^: However, that's what echo is for, right? Go to the past and capture avatars? =P
AND we even have another option...sinceavatar is a projection of a higher being, maybe SMN will just summon deities instead...FFT had the Totemas (racial avatars) so why not having a different list here? ^^
But for a new job i want sky pirate! It would be just perfect for a MRD advanced class since even the Astalicia already was said to be an airship and not a ship (quest spoilers)! So let the pirates flyyyyyyyyy! Arrrr! Yohoho! *does "the hook" with the index finger*
We don't know that the large wyvern present was Bahamut. Also I don't think there was any indication of Alexander existing anywhere yet. They have mentioned dragons in the game, particularly in reference to Coerthas and Ishgard. Considering their close proximity to Mor Dhona (as well as to the north), it's entirely possible that the Garleans pissed off some rather large dragons. There was talk in one quest (forget which) about dragons not getting along well with humanoid races very much.
Geomancer.

Alex is the "flying fortress" (complete guessing lol) that faced Bahamut. I say that's Bahamut because its a dragon...and Baha is the most classic dragon from FF...also that event is said to be what granted the echo power to people and what sent the primals to eorzea (more spoilers)...so i'd assume those are avatars from the highest tier, which often includes Bahamut, Odin, Alexander and Diabolos. We don't know that the large wyvern present was Bahamut. But its like i said...most of this is random guessing =P
TThat giant airship was garlean and they have forsaken the primals. Alexander being a classic FF summon would be a primal.
Whoever, Alex is one of the mechanical avatars and he was a "transformer" in most FFs...so i'd expect him to be here too ^^ And as a mecha he can fit perfectly garlean background...and i'm looking foward to that ship because of its size. You see...most of avatars in this game are extremely oversized...i saw (during beta still) a model scale people posted with the biggest models of this game...leviathan has like 10~12 ferries lenght and like 2~3 ferries height...its really giantic...no wonder it was used to test performance with large models during benchmark.
Mime? eh? eh? lol
