I don't even know yet. I haven't entered in the code out of fear I might mistakenly repeat the new service account process. I might contact customer support first, if no one decides to put up a guide on the PSN version.

Agent Justin C: Hello and thank you for contacting SQUARE ENIX Customer Support. Just a few moments while I review your question, please.
Agent Justin C: While I look over this ticket, may I have your first name please?
You: Finally!
You: ---
You: ---
Agent Justin C: Thank you Evan. It seems you may have registered a registration code to the incorrect Service Account. I also see from the other ticket number provided that this may have been previously escalated. Is this correct?
You: Yes
You: I spoke with Chris over the phone the other day and for some reason my platform on my Ticket number --------- was changed to Pc but i own the Ps3 CE for it
You: and my ticket was escalated last thursday by ricardo l in live chat i was just calling in yesterday to see if they were still working on it.
Agent Justin C: I can assure you that the escalation is for the proper type, the ticket status will not affect this. There is nothing to be alarmed about with the type of ticket that was filed.
You: Ok
Agent Justin C: Are there any different issues I can assist you with right now?
You: So do you have any idea on the time frame on getting ps3 NA fixed?
You: would it be 2 week from when my ticket was first escalated?
Agent Justin C: We are hoping very soon. I cannot say when, but keep your eye on your email as you should be getting information there.
You: Alright thanks. one more question
You: When i get my Collectors edition items back on my account. will i also get the 30 days + the 7 that were given out today?
You: I was hoping i would have gotten the 7 on my inactive account but instead it was put onto my other service account
Agent Justin C: I can say that you would at least get the 30 days if this was a new registration, which it should be since it's for the Playstation 3, and the extra 7 should apply, but this is an automatic system so if you do not, please let us know.
You: Alright! Thank you so much Justin. Hope you guys get some rest soon.
Agent Justin C: No problem! Thank you for your concern and thank you for visiting the SQUARE ENIX Support Center! Take care and hope to see you online!
Agent Justin C has disconnected.
So if you had your original ticket changed from ps3 to pc that should not affect the process Beater.

Bah, well I guess they only did a hand full of emails tonight. With any luck I'll have the email when I wake up in the morning.

thanks. i also had a similar chat with a CS a few hours ago saying the same thing. but i just want to be 100000000000% sure lol
Here's what I did to add my service code from SE and fix my problem. I got the email with the new code. I went to the playstation network store. Go to the very bottom of the menu where it says "redeem codes" or something like that. Enter the code given to you in the e-mail. Click accept until you get to the page where it says download game, click download. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LET THE GAME FINISH DOWNLOADING, YOU ONLY HAVE TO START THEN STOP THE DOWNLOAD IF YOU ALREADY HAVE IT ON THE SYSTEM.
Now exit the playstation store and go to FFXIV:ARR and start the game. Login to your account and you should get a screen that is asking you to sign a standard agreement to use Square-Enix's software. Click accept, this will take you to the next screen. They have redone the next few pages so they are not confusing as all hell. Click yes when it ask you which game you want to add, FFXIV is the only option here. On the next page you will see your service accounts which have characters on them. Select the service account that you want to add your code to and press next. DO NOT PRESS CREATE NEW ACCOUNT. It is clearly marked this time and not down at the very bottom like it was before. Simply press next and move on. There is a confirmation page afterwards, but other than that you're done.
My account had my 30 days added to it as soon as i was done with the process and refreshed the mogstation on my laptop. Good Luck.
