    I just hope when I get the email that I don't somehow make a 3rd service account.

    Those who just got the email; did it work correctly? Was it confusing at all?

    That screen that shows service 1 and says create new service account. You have to scroll down in order to see the buttons 'BACK' and 'NEXT'. As long as it shows Final Fantasy XIV 1 is radio button'd hit the NEXT key.
