Just let y'all know that I've been constantly refreshing since the end of the maintenance last night on my friend's account, and it never came up (either Hyperion or Excalibur). Lack of respect from Square. At least they could openly say that these are never going to unlock.

Also, open hyperion! Or buddy pass or something! I have four people on the wrong server and four that won't start playing until they can make new on hyperion.

There is a 99.9% chance they will stay locked until the next server upgrade. As is we are pretty much full to the brim on this server at the moment.

Same here. I had a group of friends who were interested in playing because we would all be able to play together.

Half of them got on in the very beginning, the other half have been locked out since. All of them are refusing to continue paying for a game that doesn't let them all play together.

If they can't upgrade the servers infrastructure any further, then open another legacy server or two, allow transfers amongst the legacy servers and stop letting people create characters on legacy servers unless they have an invite from someone already on it. Otherwise there's going to be a lot of people dropping off at the end of this trial.

What's sad is I was so determined to get all my friends on Ragnarok since it was listed as the least crowded server but at the beginning of beta 4 they closed down the character creation almost immediately. I stayed up all night waiting for the emergency maintenance to be over and I collected all my friends ID's and PW's and had them create a character on a different open server before hand and had them make an appearance data labeled (THIS ONE!!). After about an hours of struggling through log in issues, i got all of them on the server. Dedication to say the least but this game would not have been any fun for us had we not been able to play with each other but I was missing two friends up until yesterday when i seen Ragnarok was open for creation. 2 calls and boom, they were on. You just gotta stalk it, I've seen them all open up for an hour after a maintenance, that's the best time to try and force the creation.
