Gridania is very nice.
In Black Shroud, instead, some parts should be more open. I would love to see some parts similar to these:

Thats so beautiful. I imagined that is what the forest outside of Gridania would have been like. I really don't like the labyrinth/grid feel of the zone. Looking something like the images from your post would would most likely increase the population of that city as well. Nobody likes ghost towns.
