I would recommend waiting at least a week.

Once again, you wait a week and you won't get the extra 7 days... so it won't make a difference.

Also, this was just posted a few minutes ago. As I've said, they've been fixing characters all morning since the issue was brought to the lodestone....

They have been pretty quick today. I'd say people are overreacting. By tomorrow I'll be everything is stable and worlds open up by the weekend.

If you register on or before the 9th, you get 37 days. Anytime after that, 30 days. So if you buy now and wait until Monday to register, you'll get to play for 37 days from Monday. Otherwise, you'll only get 30 days from the date you register.

Yeah the free 30 days comes with the game no matter when you buy it, but I heard that you can take advantage of the 7 free days if you register on or before the 9th, so 37 days sounds better to me.

And I know a lot of people on the forums are the ones not able to play, I'm just trying to get an educated guess on the state of the game. I could very well end up being a rager on the forums if I had bought it. I'm never very lucky :/

I would buy it now and register it on the 8th. From what I hear it's hard to get a hold of in some areas. Do you know for sure that it's available around you? Seriously the game is awesome when you get to play. These issues wont last forever people acting like it's the end of the world is pretty amazing. I understand being pissed of I really do I like thousands of others are in the same boat. Just take a chill pill people. MMO's get better with time don't believe me? Take FFXI and Everquest as an example. After 3 years of a terrible game this one is a must buy!

I think you'll be fine... Just buy it and wait til Monday to register if you're that concerned. By then you'll have your free 7 days and another 30 ontop of that. Should be fixed by then, otherwise I guarantee SE will issue another week long trial, so you'll get even more extra time if there are issues. Keep an eye on the lodestone in the meantime. Don't listen to what the ragers have to say, as its mostly just negative BS. I've been one of the lucky ones able to play since early release day with little to no problems - other than being locked out for the entirety of beta phase 4.

So true.... Honestly, the reason people are raging so hard, is because deep down they really love this game and can't stand to not be able to play. It has nothing to do with the fact that they wasted $30 on a game... How many times have you wasted $50 or $60 on a game that you hated and just didn't care and didn't want to even pick it back up again? If they REALLY hated it that much, they'd return it and get their money back and stop bitching and move on....

They're mad because this game is so good and they're not able to play when they want because of the complex technology that goes behind one of these games.

See, like this guy. He's so mad that he signed up for the forums just to tell you not to buy it.

Pick a world thats not full. If the world you're already on is full, do what the smarter people who are actually playing are doing and grab a program to spam the 0 key. This basically puts you in your own little fake queue by trying over and over again. It has worked for me since day 1 and I've had over 40 hours of gameplay so far.

On the other hand, the servers aren't full anymore. So you shouldn't continue to have that problem.

Unfortunately digital downloads have been suspended. You'll have to pick up a physical copy of the game if you want to play. Amazon still has them in stock and they are prime eligible.

At the moment I don't believe anyone is sending out registrations codes. Amazon has it listed as unavailable.

Not mad at all, just said to wait because there are currently still a lot of issues, that were supposed to be fixed, but we are experiencing many of the same issues, new issues and a large number of people are completely locked out of the game. Still nothing to address players who were sepperated and unable to make characters on the same server, as well they are locking down character creation on all the servers again, so again... no change. They only added 3 new servers, which is pretty underwhelming considering the demand.

So... yes wait. I love the game, but why encourage someone to potentially pay money in order to be very frustrated and denied service. Until the dust settles you can just watch from the sidelines and make sure it something you want to spend your money on.
