Prob a stigma mark of some type. Btw Since playing the game with my headphones I notice a funne sound sfx when these special npcs come into play. And also the screen seems to pulsate.

Also it seems, some npcs you were talking to seem to never notice the npc was even there or was ever talking to you. Like in U'l"dah when you go sell the flower. The elf from the CS comes in talks to the girl at the counter after she askes about selling the flower. The screen pulsate and he appraises the flower and buys it off you, he leaves the screen pulsates again and npc asks about the flower as id she didn't see you sell it.

Similar occurences happen.

I personally can't wait to log back in and hope to run into these shdy characters.

The "pulsating effect" you speak of is The Echo, as explained around the time of the r20 scenario mission, is the power to look into the past of someone else. Can also physically interact with their past as is seen many times throughout the story. The Echo also allows one to understand all languages.

The player character (that's you) is known to possess the power of the Echo along with a group of people situated in Ul'dah called The Path of the Twelve, which you become a part of in the story.

If the Echo is involved with the appearance of this strange prophetic Archanist, could be there's some kind of time travel involved.~

The 7th Umbral era belongs to the Winds, if they want to keep the same order as with Moons and Suns.

Might be, might not be, well I got a report from one of my friends who was in the horizon area out killing critters for SP when his Controler violently shook from the rumble pack in ps3 controlers. He also mentioned the screen was shaking and he wish he played with any in game sound on to hear if it was a earthquake in game. So I'm not sure if he was making stuff up, or his game glitched out for a moment, but if it's true we should all keep our eye out for more tremors.

EDIT: Just asked, he said it was during a behest, no one but him freaked out, so it may have been a glitch, but it was the easter behest route he mentioned. Either way, it was most likely just a glitch, but I just thought I'd give people the heads up if they do see earthquakes.

Wow! That's actually a really interesting thing...that gives me more of a feeling of gloom then it constantly just raining out in the field.

Oh wow, I wonder if that's intentional too, or if it's just a bug. I've never seen it rain in cities...or any weather effects aside from the day/night cycle for that matter.

I hope we get more weather effects in cities from now on. It's always strange to walk out of Ul'dah into the rain and come back into the city and have the sun shining.

So Many Connections coming out of so many directs up the yin yang:

Starting with these Grand Companies which is mentioned on the Lodestone They come up and rise to defend the " Imminent Doom" ( Not to mention the Chocobos on there) They cant just keep through Chocoboes out there for show and tell all the time. I have a Huge feeling since these Grand Companies seem to be the Primary role of Defense, it seems safe to say they will be introduce when Grand Companies are but who know.. lol

Remember back on New Year's Day where Yoshi Showed this Green Tablet, and it says this:

Talks about Sun and the moon, The Shady Character thats been spreading these Prophecies also mentioned about the "6th sun falling and the 7th Moon Rising w/ Ocean Clouds Pouring Fiery flames"

See the Connection there? and also notice it talks about " Ocean Clouds" another words theres a high probable Chance we will be seeing a Natural Disaster

Remember seeing the abnormal amounts of Rainfall in Thanalan? and the Sudden stop of the Fading Background music as you only hear the Weather ( mostly rain) and birds/crows.. its Creepy isn't it.. it has that omg something is going to happen... Well I believe these "Ocean clouds" they are talking about are referring to the Unusual change of weather in the Land of Eorzea and its not just Thanalan... La Nocasa has been experiencing Heavy winds, Coerathas (from last night) Rainned for 2 hrs straight non-stop, I heard reports of it actually Raining in Mor Dhona (haven't checked that out yet) I feel all this is going to lead up to a Big Natural Disaster!

And about that Shady Character that I haven't ran into yet, Very nice armor hahaha, and the fact that SE implemented this without telling us in the patch notes brought attention and spark to a dead community, and its finally bringing life into this game.

Se I applaude you on this, this caught me off guard and it at least for me it brought a spark in a game I kept with but was feeling down about.

One last thing..

Bring about this "Seventh Purification!" and Lets all set afoot on a new Era!

Last events seem to be somehow related with Hatching-tide event and Archons. As you can read on Hatching-tide - Hard-boiled High Jinks topic this is going to end/change on Monday, May 9 (7:00 a.m.), so I think something is about to happen next week... Or that's what I'm expecting to happen lol
