But this is the community section of the forums and technically not even the right place to be giving suggestions or communicate with the devs. They are here for the community to talk about stuff. The way I see it is this: These forums are not created to take away traffic from the fansites already established, they were created for feedback on the game and a way for the devs to communicate with us the fans, easily. You want to talk sport/other games/the lastest single from Rebecca Black - go to the off topic forums on the fansites. Im beginning to wonder if some people think before posting -_-

Indeed but It's a community resource and not one of the dev forums. So why not improve upon it by keeping off topic in off topic instead of punishing people for wanting to talk to their community that share similar interests (FFXIV)."The purpose of this forum is for players to discuss various topics on FINAL FANTASY XIV with other players." - http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Discussion%21
There's already a community called fan forums.

Actually all you have to do is sign up for an account which anyone can do, you don't have to have the game to be able to make an account or post here. So in an essence anyone with an email can sign up here too, this forum is just specific to FFXIV unlike the others that allow you to talk about anything including the game.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
So why can't we have all that here aside from the fact that there is no off topic forum? Why should we have to go somewhere else?Actually all you have to do is sign up for an account which anyone can do, you don't have to have the game to be able to make an account or post here.
