Anyone else wonder what Moogle tastes like?
I'm aware of the login restrictions. The point is that they were supposed to fix the 1017 crap. We shouldn't be seeing it to begin with. If the world is full, we should be entering a queue. Not getting an error.
TL;DR: As those of us on overfull worlds predicted, the maintenance didn't fix the problem. It only reduced the total number of people effected. It's like announcing that a cure for aids is just a slight increase in the production of treatment medicine, not an actual cure.
1017 isnt some bug that needs fixing, its a switch to allow people on the server. That switch will still be on til the rush mellows out. Good lord relax.I'm aware of the login restrictions. Sorry but it should have never been a screen that gives a warning that it wont fit. It should have been a queue had that on wow long ago where queues of like 1200 people in front of you at least you would get in. How hard is it to do that instead of just full out blocking when you wanna funnel people in.
even queues get full - then you get to "try again" to get in the queue...Sorry but it should have never been a screen that gives a warning that it wont fit. Not to mention with 30,000 in a queue across 25 worlds (1200 * 25 using your numbers.) the lobby and world servers would just be down.even queues get full - then you get to "try again" to get in the queue...Sorry but it should have never been a screen that gives a warning that it wont fit. Actually no, they would have a LOT less stress than if those 30,000 would be constantly trying to open several new connections per minute.
There is no excuse for not having a proper queue.
No. You're not aware. Otherwise you would not be making this post. Go do something productive for a change and quit whining.I'm aware of the login restrictions. This doesn't just go for you btw, this goes for everyone complaining.
You should give it a little time. The first day might be a little chaotic.
Although i agree with you, it would have been handled better with a QUEUE.
