Since it seems that some people have gotten that error even when they downloaded files other ways and put in the patch folders, it could also be to corrupted or unpatched system files.
not sure where you are getting your 'information' but this error has nothing to do with the integrity check this is an error DURING download where the patcher fails to acquire all necessary information prior to trying to install the new data.
