It is a client side issue or possibly an issue with your internet.

While it would be a lot of work to try, have you tried to reinstall your computer from scratch?
That way you certainly won't have any old beta files that may interfere in some way.

I do assume that you've really uninstalled all previous FFXIV instances and cleaned your My Documents folder and checked in Program Files for any SE/FFXIV folders left after uninstalling.

First off you have no idea whether this is truly a client side issue at all since you are assuming that point on the fact that it is not you that acquired this issue, I am not alone when it comes to this error code and it has been around since pre-beta of 1.0 so dont give me that "It is a client side issue" my internet works perfectly fine for EVERYTHING ELSE why the hell would it be my internet for ONE game.

You are asking me to uninstall over 3TB of information ... you really think ANYONE would be willing to do that? and I'm sorry but any game that requires a clean install of the OS is NOT worth the effort.

Yes I've uninstalled entirely with a clearing of ALL SQEX related files

The question was IF you had tried to reinstall windows.
That can be done on a separate drive IF you have one available for testing on just for testing purposes.

I've read plenty of threads about this issue and evidence points to either internet or client side issues as the cause. Yes, client side CAN also mean that it is in the patcher itself that there is a problem with your setup in some way.

I haven't yet had actual physical access to any computer that reports this error code, so I haven't been able to troubleshoot it myself.

You also don't know just how any of your currently installed software may have affected your windows install, so saying that "everything else" works doesn't really mean much.

What you can try if you haven't already is to change dns servers to opendns or google's dns servers to see IF there is a problem with the node that your patcher gets a connection to.

Ok that is just ignorance at its utmost. I keep windows up to date and as far as any other programs are concerned if they are fking with my system files then they are breaking terms of service with Microsoft(This includes FFXIV). the only issues should be either FFXIV itself or Windows, and as I keep my OS fully updated then it would mean that ALL that play XIV and keep windows 7 fully updated should experience this issue.

This error, 11006 20641 20643 doesnt look like "internet issue". Because by example, i can download the whole 1gb of patch normally, the problem is when it starts to install the patch, and gets the error.

Actually like I've said before the error is because it doesnt download the ENTIRE patch (1000MB of 1027MB) before attempting to isntall

Any chance you could be having a conflict with your current firewall and/or Antivirus?

Nope, tried disabling antivirus AND firewall ... still got the issue

i got the error and im pretty sure it will still after maintenance.

do we have an oficial "Download game site" for all the ppl that need it?

Sadly it WILL exist after the servers come back up and unfortunately they dont have a "manual patch" site that we can DL the individual patches from

I removed the antivirus, turned off the firewall long time ago already because of that launcher, still not working. Changed compatibilities on the binaries, changed the read-only stuff, blabla. Did kinda everything is possible, BUT reinstall windows, which i think is STUPID format my computer just because of a retard launcher that cant be made properly.
