Once again [11006][20641][20643] on update

Once again for some reason I get the same error code when trying to DL the newest patch [11006][20641][20643] says that it cant patch the game. And while last time I simply DLed an 11part .7z file to instal the game I'd rather not have to wait for a week before I can play my game again. Either they need to find and fix the source of this recurring issue of two years or they need to start releasing manual patch downloads.


And before you ask I've followed all the steps listed in the "I cant download the latest Patch" Help thread and my system, router and modem are all entirely up to date. I have NO issues what so ever with any other game, it is ONLY FFXIV:ARR.

From what I can see it is as if the file is trying to install almost 50MB prior to fully downloading
update: it gets about 75% done with install before the error occurs (About the time it would start installing the incomplete files)

EDIT: and for some reason the damned thing still saying my updater is in Beta Version

EDIT 2:
Reinstalling - get error at file ending in "0000d" instead
Replaced Boot folder - still got error
rebooted ALL devices - still got error
Updated all Firmware and Software - still get error
run without firewall or other programs - still get error
removed the "download" folder in My Games - still get error
changed my DNS on IPv4 and/or IPv6 - still get error


UPDATE: I ended up fixing my issue with this by shutting my system down for around 5 minutes ... I guess this allowed some stray files to finish being removed that a standard reboot would not remove
surprisingly it does stop the DL at 1000.71 and install it then goes back and DLs to about 1020.5 and installs then finishes the DL and installs a third time.

If this just occured now - there's a reason for that. The servers are all down for maintenance. Including the servers to download the game's client and patches.

iv'e had the same issue as OP, cant patch files, tried everything too

Even if Maintenance is still going on, people say they downloaded the patch and finished,

i mean... CANT WE GET A FIX? plz, torrent file, manual download, it cant be that hard ._.

Not sure what it could be ... considering I could uninstall and try to reinstall and would simply get the error on the 4th DL file instead of the newest patch

any ideas would really help instead of just posting "must be a problem on your end" considering as far as I am aware I have done nothing different than what everyone else does.

Maintenance has nothing to do with the login or patch servers http://www.arrstatus.com tends to be the most accurate site for finding if any servers are down (Assuming SQEX keeps their shit updated)

Check the general discussion, there is a thread there that someone posted a fix for the boot folder or something that supposedly is the fix for this problem.

would love to do that one but have tried it and that is not really a fix as the files they are telling you to delete no longer exist after the error occurs.

If not, I'm sorry I can't help you further, as I thought it is the same problem that they were having as well.
